I had a dream and in this dream I could feel a complete love and compassion for men (and women and children) who are deceived and taken into the false light. I could feel the heart of Jesus; the concern and sorrow that He has for these children of God who have been blinded and do not see the true light of our Father in Heaven.
Our God gives us many Scriptures about men who are blinded and worship a false light, the false deity.
In 2 Corinthians 4:4 ...in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2 Corinthians 11:14...No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
2 Timothy 4:3...For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires...
1 Timothy 4:1-3...But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.
Matthew 24:4...And Jesus answered and said to them, "See to it that no one misleads you."
1 John 5:21...Little children, guard yourselves from idols.
Galatians 1:6-8...I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!
2 Peter 2:1-3...But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
Jeremiah 7:8...Behold, you are trusting in deceptive words to no avail.
Hebrews 13:9...Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.
2 Timothy 2:17...and their talk will spread like gangrene...
Many of these deceived men and women are our relatives. Parents, grandparents, brother and sisters in this world and from generations past who have believed the lie of the enemy and now walk in the persona of good when in reality they have given their soul to the evil one in ritual and oath.
As they use scripture, twisted to reinforce their falseness, they fall further and further from the truth of the One who created us in His image.
1 Kings 18:21
Elijah came near to all the people and said, "How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people did not answer him a word.
2 Kings 17:41
So while these nations feared the LORD, they also served their idols; their children likewise and their grandchildren, as their fathers did, so they do to this day.
There is no Master except for our Lord!
As the heart of Jesus feels love and compassion for these lost ones, let us also exercise love and compassion for them and toward them.
May our light shine, being the light of Truth that shines into the darkness of the deceived heart of our family members and friends, even those we are yet to meet.
There is much work to be done for our Father in Heaven.
May we each be a willing participant in His word and action, as we go about our days and nights with the light and love of Jesus shining out in every direction from our hearts.
1 Timothy 2: 5-7
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all - the testimony that was given at just the right time. For this reason I was appointed as a herald, an apostle, and a faithful and true teacher of the Gentiles. I am telling the truth; I am not lying about anything.…
My prayer for today is simply for blind eyes to open and deaf ears to hear the truth of Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Savoir. May His love and Light penetrate the atmosphere, calling all hearts back unto Himself, with a refreshing and new hope, for understanding, repentance and acceptance. After all, He continues to be the One who has always loved each of us the very Most and He awaits our return to Himself with open arms!
Love and blessings to all in Jesus' name.
