HEAVENLY THOUGHTS

When two souls collided...

Sometimes in life, we meet people and we just know that God was in the midst.  You recognize something special about them.  Their heart is tender and sweet, with the essence of our Father in Heaven, a true Holy Spirit encounter.

 I am blessed to remember...

I wrote this for one of my very best friends not long after our souls collided in a most amazing way.  We had known of each other for many years, but we didn't know each other. Then, that one day, it was like God just picked us up both at the same time and placed us in the palm of his hand.  It was an attraction with the heart of God at the center.  Perhaps for His purpose and in His time.  As neither of us still really knows what God's true plan has been in that encounter, there remains no doubt that His hand surely continues to hold us both, close to His own heart.
It's a connection in a higher spiritual place. Even though we are living many miles apart, we will always share that God heart, that deep attraction of His ways that designed each of our souls for a special purpose.  And so it remains true that we were both changed ... not for just a moment in time, but in God's time ...at the perfect time...not to understand it necessarily,  but to embrace it and to be thankful that in His time...it is He who will reveal His purpose for it all.
I thank you my special and dear friend, for your obedience to God.
You will always be His...blessed man of God.

When Two Souls Collided
They were two souls
drifting in a sea of spirituality,
each one with its own agenda,
thinking that it knew the way...

until they collided
in some higher spiritual place.

It wasn't expected.
It wasn't ever thought of.
How could it be?

These two souls
share so many similarities...

The presence of God
in deep attraction
of His ways
designed each soul
for a special purpose.

One to touch the other
in a unique and special way,
allowing each to grow
into a new enlightened soul.

Knowing a love
sweet and gentle,
with a deep feeling of belonging,
of longing to be near
that similar soul.

Two souls
drifting in a sea of spirituality
each one with its own agenda
thinking that it knew the way

until they collided
in that higher spiritual place --

Changed ... not for just a moment in time
but in God's time ...at the perfect time.

My prayer for today is that we embrace our God encounters with the knowledge that we are blessed and loved by our Father in Heaven, who knows our every need, as he places us in the right place and at the right time with those who whom He has chosen for His purpose. It is in His time...at the perfect place and at the perfect time that His will is done.  May we not grow weary in our walk and remain steadfast and obedient,  knowing that not a day goes by that He isn't watching over us.

  “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.”
Psalm  91: 14-16
Love and Blessings to All in Jesus Precious Name, Amen
