Pennies...from Heaven? In God We Trust 1 Chronicles 16:11

I was never really one who believed in pennies from Heaven...until recently.
I have been finding pennies in some locations that
seem to be off the beaten path.
It's common to find them while walking in the street or in the car wash, or by a soda machine.
But, I find pennies as if they have been laying in wait for my arrival.
Once I found a penny in the trunk of a car once owned by my best friend in Heaven. Another time there was a penny in an old purse I got at a yard sale. The purse appeared unused with original tags on it, but inside was a pretty penny. I even found a penny in the aisle at my church,where I walk many times a day. Suddenly, a pretty, shiny penny lay sparkling in my path ... perhaps dropped into existence with perfect timing for me to find.
I do know that on every coin is printed the beautiful message "In God We Trust."
Perhaps, the pennies are placed in my path by guardian and ministering Angels sent by God to let me know that all is okay, to remember to trust in Him.
I talked with a truck driver friend a few days ago about the pennies I find and the possibility that they are a message from God... that we truly do need to trust in Him every day, in every situation and trial that we face.
The next time we talked, my friend shared with me that when he got out of his truck that day to get fuel, there laid a penny. He said he chuckled, as he was reminded of our previous conversation and he bent down to pick it up.
Sure enough... a confirmation of pennies from Heaven!
And now, I believe that the pennies we find are...a tiny gift from God to remind us that we are to trust in our Lord... with even the smallest, heartfelt need or desire.
"In God we Trust"... a message for a life well-lived.
Praise God from whom ALL Blessings come!
It is my prayer that we don't pass up the small things in life and see them as unimportant, because even the smallest cent...a single penny, can carry a huge message!
