A Question of Gender

Originally posted on Saturday, November 04, 2017

I want to start today by letting you know that I am not writing this to pass judgment onto anyone, as I see and understand the complexity of this issue.  I also understand God's plan and purpose for humanity and this plan which is written in the Bible is what I am speaking about today.
It seems that the world we live in is becoming increasingly rogue, chaotic and rebellious.
As I was reading the news today, it was once again brought to my attention that the question of gender is surely one of the enemy's most used manipulations to get into the minds of mankind and attempt to turn the beauty and truth of God's creation into a spectacle of sorts. These twisted thoughts get people, harassed, bullied, beat up or worse as they feel the need to be recognized and stand up for the lie that they have come to believe; a lie that they live.
But, is this any wonder really... when on the television and news media, the truth continues to be twisted and God's word is manipulated into a distortion of the beauty of the male and female body, the relationship, between a man and wife and the procreation of our earth, as He created it to be. It is truly designed to be a form of heavenly splendor and love among

His children.
As I was shopping at a retail superstore over the weekend, I noticed that there are now three restrooms labeled Men, Women,  and  Gender Neutral.  I thought... Really?  And I entered into the restroom of my appropriate gender... as God created me to be since birth and there has never been a question about it.  I was born a girl, and grew into a woman. Therefore, I use the women's restroom.
Scripture tells us in Genesis 1:27... God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female He created them.
Also in Genesis 5:1-2 we read... When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created.
It seems that we are lacking morals and respect in our society.  New words and definitions are created to suit new descriptors of what should simply be called a boy or a girl, a man or a woman.
I do realize that sometimes there are children who are born with both male and female parts and parents are faced with a choice of whether to raise the child as a boy or a girl.
I am aware that many people want to blame God for this occurrence, or even believe that this is an intended part of His creation, but His word does not say that we are created as male and female in one human body. It is likely a result of sin, generational sin or some other aspect of Satan attacking God's creation.
I heard of a woman not long ago who was married with two young children. She had one half of her head shaved and the other half in a pony tail. She was with a man who was not her husband. And she thought she was a man trapped in a woman's body. It was clear that she was conflicted, her mind manipulated by all sorts of lies of the enemy to destroy the beauty of God's plan of creation.
Everyday in our society and in other countries as well, we see these kinds of people. People declaring openly that they have a right to be disobedient, disrespectful, and degrading to themselves and others.
The truth is that God does not make mistakes.  We do!
And Satan, the enemy of our Father in Heaven, sits back laughing at the chaos he creates, the lives he destroys and the mistakes we make because of the confusion that he creates in our thoughts. This enemy is relentlessly whispering lies into our ears in an attempt to lure us into sinfulness.
However, in the great plan of God's creation comes salvation. Jesus Christ was born and died for our sinfulness, for

our mistakes.
Our Father in Heaven forgives our sins and re-creates us into His image once again... our past washed away,  cleansed by the shed blood of Jesus as He died on the cross for all the sins of mankind; yesterday, today and tomorrow.
It is in our repentance, our sorrow for sinning and our desire to turn from our sinful ways that Jesus takes our hand, offers forgiveness and acceptance into His kingdom, so that we can live a life eternally with Him in Heaven.

Jesus knows the evil that we face in this world.  He, too was tempted by Satan. In Matthew 4:1-11, scripture tells us:

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.  And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.  And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone,  but by every word that comes from the mouth of God'.”
Then the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and ‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone’.” Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test'.”

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.”  Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve'.”
Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him.

God is the One who we will stand in front of when we die. He has a record of our lives. His word tells us in

Psalm 139:13... For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb.

In Luke 12:7 us He tells us... Why even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
As our God truly keeps a record of our lives, our thoughts, and decisions... He is even aware of our deepest

heartfelt desires.
He knows our temptations, our confusion, sorrows, our guilt and shame and He continues to love us despite our decisions.
He created us as humans, subject to the temptations of the enemy and He offers forgiveness for those sins we commit. So often, our God sends people into our lives to guide us back to Him, to give us messages from Him and to share His love with us.
I pray you receive this message with the love of Jesus today.
He wants you to know that you are beautiful to Him and that you do not need to question your gender.  He wants you to look in the mirror and see your body.  You are made male or female.  Your gender is not a mistake.
God doesn't make mistakes.
We do!
And our biggest mistake is believing the lies that the enemy whispers in our ears, through our own thinking, other people's actions or words or even the news media or television and movies.
Refuse to be a part of the lie.
As the world we live in is becoming increasingly rogue, chaotic and rebellious.
If you find you or someone has a question of gender, remember that this is one of the enemy's most used manipulations to get into the minds of mankind as he attempts to turn the beauty and truth of God's creation into lie. God's creation is beautiful and we cannot fall prey to the temptation to believe a twisted distortion of the beauty of the male and female body, the relationship, between  a man and wife and the procreation of our earth. We are created in the image of God, our Father in Heaven as male and female. And our creation is truly designed to be lived as a heavenly splendor and love among His children to glorify our Lord.
Praise God that we are fearfully and wonderfully made...male and female with no question of gender.  Love and Blessings to all in Jesus precious name.
Psalm 139:14
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that, my soul knows very well.
