Matthew 7:7-8, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Have you every wondered, "WHY ME??"

Why do bad things happen to good people?
Why is my life a mess?
When is this drama ever going to end?

When I first heard God calling me into ministry and counseling, I firmly said, "NO" back to Him.  "No way, not me!"
"I've done too many things wrong in my life.  Why would you want me to serve you in this way, God?"

I did not listen to Him.  I did everything possible to busy my life with other things. But still, I could hear His voice and feel Him tugging at my heart nearly every day.

Several years later, I suffered a number of traumatic events. I turned to God and cried out, "Yes God.  I hear you.  I still don't know why you chose me, but I will follow you today and every day for the rest of my life."

Then I wanted to do His work right away, jumping right in, I soon found myself lost.  I knew He called me, and I knew  what He wanted me to do, but I didn't know where to start.  I tried several things and then I heard His voice one day telling me, "This will happen in MY time and not YOURS.  Be still My Child and let Me guide you."

So, that is what I did. I found myself thirsty for His word like I never had been before. It was so fulfilling. As I learned His teachings - I knew I was to apply all the life experiences I had to His Holy Scripture in order to help others in similar circumstances today.

Finally -- I knew why He chose me.

As I had previously thought I had done too many wrongs in my life to serve Him, He let me know that those wrongs were forgiven and are to be used to help Him make things right for so many of His children in their time of need.

As none of us are perfect, He does have a perfect plan for each of us.

The next time you wonder, "WHY ME" -- ask Him and be willing to listen to and accept His plan for your life over

your own plan.

I pray His blessings pour over you  --
providing you with His abundant love!
