Just as Our Lord, Jesus Christ, is on fire for us, we also are to be on fire for Him, seeking Him daily, loving Him and desiring to do His work.
Our Lord tells us... “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord” (Romans 12:11). “Do not put out the Spirit’s fire” (1 Thessalonians 5:19).
The Apostle Paul said, "Praise be to the God
of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles,
so that we can comfort those in any trouble with
the comfort we ourselves have received from God"
(2 Corinthians 1:3-4, NIV).
It is our prayer that God's love and peace is felt throughout the entire world in 2014 and that we continue to remember that Jesus is our Savior and through His great love, healing can occur in any situation.
Just as the Apostle Paul has done in His walk, we are do do the same in our walk... sharing the love and comfort of Jesus and bringing glory to His name.
Fear and anxiety seek to steal our happiness and joy. And during this time, we need the help of others to remind us that fear and anxiety are tools used by the enemy to destroy God's children.
There is always good news for God's children.
You are a child of God, created in His image and therefore, He has a great future planned for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 - 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'
He freely gives us His great love and acceptance, regardless of who we are or what we are going through.
With Jesus as our Savior, there is always hope for a better tomorrow and it starts the very moment we earnestly seek Him.
