God hearts are helpful hearts...healing hearts
Do everything in love... 1 Corinthians 16:14....
Written by Patricia Ann
It seems so much has been happening way too fast in our world today. It's like everywhere we look there is a new tragedy or trauma that has occurred. All people are subject to experiencing trauma reactions which leave us devastated. We find ourselves floundering in a whirlwind of how, what, when and where did this all come from? And just when we think we can't take another moment in this inner turmoil, God steps in. God sends His helpful hearts. These are His troops, His mighty band of warriors armed with His Love, His word, His hands, finances and more. And when we take a moment to breathe, we step back and focus as it becomes crystal clear that God hearts are helpful hearts.
Helpful hearts come in every shape and size, every nationality, skin color and attire. They each look different on the outside, but on the inside beats a most precious and dedicated love for mankind. Inside, beats the heart of God, pulsing with desire, compassion, empathy and even tears that come forth to share in the traumatic experience and just to say... "I'm here. And it's all going to be okay."
Oh, how blessed we are to be on the receiving end of God's love!
I've been here, on the receiving end of God's helpful hearts. It's always a touching experience, as a humbleness is felt within myself that God has heard my prayers and loves me so much that He has sent to me, His helpful hearts. I have felt the deep down, inside love... that shines forth from His people, His helpful hearts. And I can testify that those who operate with the light and glory of God are not just helpful hearts, but healing hearts, as well. I have been healed many times because of the love of God bursting forth in times of need. Just when I've been ready to give up, wanting to give up, God has provided in miraculous ways. And what He has done for me and others, He also will do for you, for your circumstance. His love is like a giant eraser. It erases the bad and brings forth His goodness to fulfill His purposes in our lives.
I have also had the blessing and opportunity to be one of God's helpful hearts. It's been my prayer forever, that I can be available and ready to help people in their time of need. Sometimes, it's a simple moment of prayer with a person. It's a word of encouragement, a testimony, a scripture, a hug, a place of shelter, and sometimes finances to help a person get groceries, or gas or to pay a bill. Sometimes, it is enough to just sit quietly and allow God to minister in the silence of His presence.
There are always going to be things happening in our world today, as it seems times moves faster and faster, and we see more traumatic events taking place. Still, it is written in His word that it will be this way. God's word is forever faithful and true. His love never leaves us nor forsakes us and He will always have our best interests in His plan for our lives. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
In His promise, we can rest assured that whatever comes our way, God's plan includes HIs helpful hearts... His troops, His mighty band of warriors armed with His Love, His word, His hands, finances and more. And when we take a moment to breathe, we step back and focus as it becomes crystal clear that God hearts are helpful hearts. God's helpful hearts are healing hearts, armed with His great love for you and me.
It's personal, it's intimate, its real love from the one who loves us the Most.
My prayer for today is that we all recognize God's presence in our lives, as He sends forth HIs helpful, healing hearts in times of need. May we always be ready and willing to be a part of the love and beauty of God's creation. May we be willing to be His hands, His words, His heart and His embrace, as we minister His healing love through ourselves every day, moment by moment. May we be ready to share...our Father's peace and love, His mercy and His grace. May His love fill us to overflowing. Blessings and love to all in Jesus' name, Amen
