Overridden and Paid in Full ... Isaiah 53:3-5

We despised him and rejected him;
he endured suffering and pain.
No one would even look at him—
we ignored him as if he were nothing.
“But he endured the suffering that should have been ours,
the pain that we should have borne.
All the while we thought that his suffering
was punishment sent by God.
But because of our sins he was wounded,
beaten because of the evil we did.
We are healed by the punishment he suffered,
made whole by the blows he received.
(Isaiah 53:3-5)

It is when we are still that we often hear the voice of God as He gives us a message to share...

I heard the Spirit of the Lord say "Overridden"
Then I heard "Paid in Full" ....
Praise God of this reminder. Jesus always responded "it is written" when the whispers of the enemy came to Him.
We know it is written that the lies and temptations of the enemy are overridden by the shed blood of our Lord

and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He lives and so we live also!
In His death we experience love beyond human comprehension...
And so we love also!
In this, we can rest and be fulfilled in joyful calm and peace in our daily lives.

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'" Luke 4:8

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"  Matthew 4:4

Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'"  Matthew 4:10

It is my prayer that we all take the time every day to remember Jesus as the One who loves us the most. May we rest in the knowledge that His blood is precious and was indeed shed for each one of us.  It is written that our sins, sickness, disease, and emotional suffering is "overridden" by Jesus death on the cross and in that He paid it all. Our sins are forgiven and stamped "Paid in full".

His resurrection gives us life everlasting in Him. Praise God from whom all blessing come.

Love and blessings to all, in His precious name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
