1 John 4:9. This is how God showed His love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.
Thank you, Jesus!
When I was a little girl, my mother prayed with me at night when she tucked me into bed. Instilled into my heart forever was the Truth, Love and Word of our Lord.
I also prayed with my sons every night as I tucked them into bed.
Thank you, Jesus! I see your love operate through the generations of Your people.
My mother's time on earth ended last week and I have reflected back on those days when she always took the time to tuck me into bed at night and pray, always ending with The Lord's Prayer.
As my mother's health was failing over the past few months, I had the blessing and opportunity to pray with her every day. Thank you, Jesus!
On many occasions, I was allowed to see a beautiful light shine through her eyes, even as her body was wreaked with pain.
Thank you, Jesus! As this is the celebration of Your birth Jesus, I am thankful that Your Love, Truth and Life lives on in our memories and present moments.
Jesus! Our Savior! You were born so that we may live and share Your magnificent love, forgiveness, peace and joy.
Thank you, Jesus! You never leave us or forsake us. May we always know that we can reach out and touch the hem of Your garment. May we rejoice in the new born baby's cry and the freshness of life.
Thank you, Jesus! As Your heartbeat resounds in Creation, I pray that we all feel the greatness of your Love and compassion, healing and refreshing forgiveness of sins.
We were born to live!
